SUS Services

SUS Peer Tutoring

SUS Peer Tutoring is a 100% free, volunteer-based tutoring service. This program relies on gracious volunteers to tutor students that sign up with us. You can be sure of your tutor's skill, as they have achieved at least an A- in the course they are tutoring! In addition to matching tutor and tutee, we also organize group tutorials and review sessions. All you need to do is fill out a quick form and you'll be matched up as soon as possible. Hurry though, tutors run out quickly!

SUS Clubs

COUHR

COUHR is a not-for-profit organization with branches across Canada. We are dedicated to creating opportunities for underrepresented students through research positions, mentorship, and training. To ensure interns are supported, each student is paired with a graduate student mentor, and we host biweekly workshops and journal clubs throughout the internship.

CogSURF

CogSURF is an annual, one-day academic conference for undergraduate students across Montréal to showcase their research in cognitive science.

Compete McGill

Compete McGill is devoted to helping students push their limits in Computer Science and Software Engineering. While we do send teams to represent McGill competitively, our main goal is to train any student, regardless of skill level and prior knowledge - whether their purpose is to compete, to get a job or just to have some fun!

McGill Artificial Intelligence Society

For over eight years, the McGill Artificial Intelligence Society has been building a community of young minds passionate about artificial intelligence and machine learning. Our events and initiatives include our annual hackathon (MAIS Hacks) and learnathon, our introductory machine learning bootcamp (MAIS 202), and our research group (the Kernel). Follow us on Instagram (@mcgillaisociety) or LinkedIn to learn more!

McGill Quantum Group

Aim to build a quantum community at McGill by providing free learning resources on quantum information and host quantum computing related seminars/events for the arts and science students at McGill.

McGill Rare

McGill Rare is a club dedicated to raising awareness and creating resources for rare gene and chromosome disorders. Our aim is to support children with neurodevelopmental difficulties by offering them simple and accessible educational materials (including guides, animations, comics, etc.)

McGill Future Vets Club

The McGill Future Vets Club (FVC McGill) aims to bring together pre-vet students for social and academic events. We've hosted a general members' night and a bake sale fundraiser for a local cat shelter (RSA). We're super excited to connect the downtown community through study sessions, field trips and animal yoga next semester! Follow us @fvcmcgill :)

SUS Outreach Initiative

Skátne ionkwaio’tátie (We Learn Together) is a student-run program promoting equitable pathways to higher education for underrepresented youth through academic support, mentorship, and activities for educational enrichment. SCOPE

SCOPE is a club for anyone interested in learning about or pursuing a career in optometry. We plan to host guest speakers from all stages of the optometry journey, including opticians, assistants, professors, and academic advisors to provide insights into the field and application process. As well, we will organize bake sales to raise funds and awareness for charities supporting vision care and eye disease research in Montreal or, more generally, in Canada.
